Such a great diner. Had family at DHMC and stopped in for a quick meal. My eggs were delicious and the service was great. Truly a hidden gem.

Need lunch or breakfast in this part of New Hampshire - definitely swing by this place. It is surprisingly hard to find (behind a truck filling station) but worth it. Super basic food, but very well prepared, fast service and great prices.

Food options were surprising for a country diner attached to a gas station. And freshly made! And OMG the donuts & pies. We stumbled upon The Fort while looking for coffee. We are urban dwellers and did not expect to find something this good. I had the Greek Eggs Benedict, and hubby had their homemade chicken tenders - 3 were such a big portion; he could not have eaten 5. We were pleasingly stuffed. Great country diner! Enjoy if you get to this area.

This place doesn't pretend to be anything but what it is, a genuine truckstop with good food at good prices. If you want pretentious look elsewhere.

Order the Cruller French Toast and your taste buds will thank you! So amazing!! It is very sweet so I was thankful my friend was willing to split this and an omelet with me. We did have some issues with ordering the omelet and had to send it back a few times. Our final product the eggs were too 'fluffy' (aka too much water added). Our server was very friendly and helpful.

This is a good spot for breakfast/brunch in the area. It might be difficult to find at first since it is located inside the convenience store. The vibes are welcoming and there is a good variety of options on the menu. Food is what you'd expect from a diner, and though service can get a bit slow when it is busy, the staff are super friendly.

An enjoyable locally owned eatery that is frequented by locals and truckers alike. The restaurant is located inside the convenience store at Irving Gas. Don't let that deter you from eating here. We enjoyed breakfast twice. You should arrive early enough to order the muffin (grilled is best) of your choice. Bacon was crispy and plentiful. Friendly service. The formal name of the restaurant is The Fort at Exit 18. Our server was unable to tell us how the place received its name. The
